Tom started skateboarding at the age of 10, when Claremont skatepark was built 100 meters from where he lived. As soon as he stepped on a board he fell in love with the sport and has been passionate about skateboarding ever since.
Tom began coaching skateboarding with Skateboarding Western Australia (SWA) in 2017 and hasn’t stopped.
As well as coaching, he also loves photographing skateboarding and has photographed some of the top skaters in Western Australia and abroad.
When he’s not coaching or skating himself, you can find him helping out at Momentum Skateshop in Cottesloe.

Phil first got into skateboarding at age 10 after a neighbourhood friend lent him a board.
He soon met other skaters, ventured to new parks and spent his weekends filming and shooting photos around the city for local skate videos.

These days, Phil rides for Butter Goods, Beyond Skate, adidas Skateboarding, Modus Bearings, Kanpai Skateboards, Independent Trucks, Picture Wheels, and Charlie Horse Wax.
After studying Youth Work, Phil began coaching with Freestyle Now in 2009 and has since worked with Curbside Coaching, All Aboard, and The YMCA.
